This is very true. Prosperous and beautiful now means a person is skinny or fit. Poor and ugly means a person can't afford good food, a gym, and must drive their lazy ass to McD's every day. I've had it as a goal to increase my spending on food to increase both my health in the short term and in the long term. A feast used to symbolize wealth. Now it's a pantry stocked from whole foods.
