Things I spend way too much time on...

I guess the internet would be a good summing-up of these things, but I will go into more detail.

  • Google Reader - 50 items a day is clearly not enough
  • Engadget/Gizmodo/Newegg - gadget porn has its limits, and I am close to reaching it
  • Digg - the funny stuff isn't that funny, and the shocking stuff isn't that shocking
  • Online bank software - I have a plan on what to do with money, that is once I get some
  • Re-Watching TV shows - Hulu and Netflx let me burn through seasons over and over
  • Checking feeds - the whole point to feeds is that you don't have to check them
  • Email - I've been doing Zero Inbox the last month
If I could think of stuff, I would make a list of things I don't do often enough. (Like Read books, use the Wii Fit, play anything else on the Wii, watch full movies, go running). Still, there isn't really anything that would make me feel productive. I like to produce things. I don't think of it as work so much, because while it can be frustrating, it is enjoyable. Especially when there is a finished product. Tech products and news offer no finished product. If anything, they are hurting. But, computing comes easy to me. It is a strength, and a skill that I have honed over time.

Maybe this weekend I can go offline and no TV/movies. I imagine I will force myself to accomplish something. The problem with that stuff is it isn't instant. Working out takes a while to see results. Reading takes me too long. Although I am not all too positive why I am in a rush in the first place.
