As far as rules go

There are many ways to play the game. In tennis, for instance, I have played by different rules with different people. With Trent, sometimes we would play first-in for serving, or back when I could beat him, he got 3 serves and doubles lines. With Eric, we only switched sides after a set. And with Mikhail, we always played by the official rules.
In other games, or maybe things that aren't really games, you get the same opportunity. You can play by whatever rules you and the others are comfortable playing with. Like house rules in beer pong, or maybe whether or not lying around all day is a good use of time. Your game, your rules.
