This is a follow-up to my post about math and Groundswell.

While Josh Bernoff and I may disagree on some minor math issues, one thing I agree with him on is the influence of the Groundswell, and the power that can be had from tracking it.

I was amazed to be replied back by someone when i twittered about an issue I had with the book Groundswell. I was even further surprised to find out that the person who replied was the author. This was an almost perfect instance of someone practicing what they preach.

The book itself is about paying attention to social media. It's about listening to what the community has to say about your name/brand/product and responding as necessary. And Josh did just that. He even read my detailed post and responded. And it was easy. He didn't have to follow me on twitter to see my tweet, he just had to monitor a search for 'Groundswell'. And he didn't have to spend much time reading my post and responding. And because of all this, he has earned more trust and respect in my mind.

I will probably finish the book eventually, because I would like to be as on top of things as Josh. Well played sir.
