Black Music Month

Apparently it is Black Music Month. This has been going on since 2001 and I haven't noticed til now. How has that happened? I listen to black music (or at least to black artists, who I assume make black music). I am very proud that this is not lumped together with Black History Month. What other kinds of Black months could pop up soon? Black election month perhaps?
